LionArt filmed, edited, and co-produced this short documentary that was included in The Today Show’s Black History Month special, Changemakers. A running group in Milwaukee, WI, who set out to change the way the world sees running, reflects on how the challenges of the past year strengthened their mission of being a model for diversity, inclusion, and unity at a time when the world needs it most.

As part of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin’s 2021 Be Visible campaign, LionArt created six docu-style portraits showcasing a range of individuals whose stories represent the heroes among us. The portraits–filmed, edited, and produced by LionArt–amplify the perspectives of patients, care providers, policy makers and donors. Among these portraits include Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.

Milwaukee Magazine’s annual Betty Awards, named for their late publisher Betty Quadracci, honors extraordinary women doing inspiring work in Milwaukee. For the second year in a row, LionArt produced, filmed and edited a docu-style vignette for each of the seven awardees. The 2021 Bridge Builder Award honors Kimberly Stuart, chairman and CEO of Veterans for Diversity, a local nonprofit that provides holistic programs aimed at improving the physical and emotional health of Wisconsin LGBTQ+ servicepeople.
